17 - 21 September 2007 Weekly Performance Review

Actual Date should be 19 - 21 September.

19 Sept:
I decided to join the not-so-big Malaysia stock market after the US announced that FED rate goes down by 0.5%. Several counters were in my mind, undecided which to buy. I think this is
normal for a super beginner like me. The list was: RANHILL, BJPROP and CNOOC-C1 (can only rememmber these). In the end bought CNOOC-C1 at 0.16 (12000 unit). First time trading, very nervous, monitor the price up and down, Rose up to 0.18 but didn't sell it. But then I had test that day, so had to study for test first. Prepare for test, ignore the share first.

In the afternoon, the price dropped slightly to 0.11, up and down between 0.117 and 0.175. At the end decided to sell at 0.175. But the price going up again, up to 0.195. Too bad. But at least gain some experience, not too be nervous when trade, and hold the share longer if it's not going down for short term.

Bought another share by the end of the day: BOC-C1 at 0.095 (20000 unit) - not a bad price for this day.

That's for my first day:
CNOOC-C1 RM0.175 * 12000 - RM0.16 * 12000 = RM 180
BOC-C1 RM 0.095 * 20000 = RM1900

20 Sept:
Today I have presentation in the morning, lectures until noon time.. So no monitoring for the first session. As far as I could remember, BOC-C1 was so quiet in the early morning session, rose to RM0.12 around 11am (if not mistaken).

Noontime, monitor and it was so so so quiet until I sold it off at RM0.115. Malaysia market no steam lerr.. So the end of the day. After the 2nd day, decided to take a break on Friday. Promised friend to do something.

BOC-C1: RM 0.115 * 20000 = RM2300

21 Sept:
Today decided to take break, test in the morning, things to be done in the afternoon. But after my test, still go and monitor the market. Cannot stay, bought BOC-C1 at RM0.125 again, too bad sold yesterday, but never mind. Not much changes for BOC-C1. Monitor GPLUS since morning, wanted to buy but no gut, no decision was made. Instead bought BOC-C1 as stated.

Gone crazy after seeing the price.. >.<" Sold BOC-C1 at RM0.13, making a small tiny gain. After my army (money) returned to my base (account), monitor and wondering whether to buy HSBC-C1 or not at RM0.15, that time was in UTAR libray, like a "cold fridge" over there. freezing cold. Cannot aim properly. Didn't manage to notice the buying spree over there. Go do something else and back.. Woaha.. Rose up to RM0.20. Pity me.. 33.33% gaining just gone. Say bye bye to me.. Another lesson learnt. Trust myself, never trade in a "cold fridge".

BOC-C1: RM0.13 * 15000 - RM0.125 * 15000 = RM 75

Easter Sunday

Today's Easter, celebrated the resurrection of Jesus in Mega CMC this morning.. It was great, and this year, these few days, I have been pondering about one question: "What does the resurrection of Jesus mean to me?" Bro and sis, take your time to think about this, think about what you have done for Jesus, what does He mean to you.

After church, wanted to go Tesco to buy groceries again.. yes.. groceries, been like an aunty, comparing prices here and there.. Haha.. But then chatted with Lee King, and witness the baptism of bro and sister during the 2nd worship session. And ended up joining the CF meeting.. Haha.. Spent 1 hour + there, then only I headed to Tesco, thank God I got a parking space within 1 minute. After I shopped for groceries, rush to 1U to have lunch with Poh Yi, her sis and Chui Fen at Genki Sushi. Not bad.. Though the udon mee seems to be a bit salty. Too much ajinomoto?? :P

Didn't manage to buy anything in 1U, just walked around only.. Chit-chatting.. Not bad.. Came home at 4 sth and now blogging.. Tonight gonna be a peaceful night, at least for me.. Just stay at home and do things I had planned.. Gonna switch myself to "half-battle" mode starting tmr.. Finals coming..

*Ohya.. Another thing is that: never try to park your lovely car in basement carpark if you plan to go 1U on Sunday, it's super full.. Spent 30 mins to get a parking for my tiny kancil.. >.<" Exhausted + bored...

Time to blog again.. Today's Sat, kinda relax for me, though want to study later.. Talk about yesterday (Friday). At first Cindy invited me to join her and Andrew for a piece of movie - Just Follow Law, but I just don't want to be a 5 x 10^200W light bulb, haha.. But in the end, still decide to watch it, so get myself out of the library to Mid Valley. huh.. wat a heavy traffic, wondering why, mayb it's because of the Expo held in MVEC. Parked my car and shoot up to the 3rd floor, again, a superb long queue at the ticket counter of GSC, (sweat), couldn't get myself on time for the movie although the screen shows 2 seats left. Finally got to give up.. aikss.. Cindy and Andrew managed to watch it, but not for me.. Wan to watch movie alone oso that hard.. :( Got to find other day and watch it...

What to do? MV is not a bad place to hang out, at least for me.. Walk alone, seeing couples everywhere and went to my favourite bookstore - MPH, read copies of magazines.. Read storyline and introduction of Spiderman 3.. Man.. Nice movie, I gonna watch it on the first day of screening.. Shopped at Carrefour for groceries.. Meet friends, all asked me the same question,

"Alone ar?"
"Yalorr... No gf and all fren went back dy ma.. What to do? U lor.. never intro" [self-added conversation :P]
"Wanted to watch movie but tickets sold off. So shop alone lorr"

Stayed there for 3 hrs before I check out.. Preparing myself to get my new darling - SE W710i at Sunway, but forgot to bring along my ATM card to withdraw money.. Gonna go home first and get it.. As usual, traffic is always congested.. Jam all the way to Sunway.. and finally.. the moment comes.. after sticking with my dear N7210 for 4 yrs, I got this new baby.. :P later will post up photo or perhaps review of her, with white + purple body.. Looks great and sexy! Haha.. Spent half a night playing with her, discovering her functions and transferring MP3s into it.. Now she's loaded with my favourite music.. Can't live without music.

Listening to instrumental music, flipping over those photos taken since form 5, now feeling to write on my blog. Those are sweet memories I had in my mind. A peaceful night, a special night - Mid-autumn's night. Yet I couldn't see those children carrying lantern, playing with candles by the roadside, or in the playground. Perhaps not for those who are at the beach, I never know since I am too lazy and alone too if going there, it's definitely very crowded. Nowadays people are just too busy, busy with their works, busy with their families, for students, busy with their homeworks, assignments, examinations etc.. No time for relaxing, no time for letting their hair down, having a nice chat with friends, or sitting down, reading a book they like, while enjoying a cup of hot coffee. No time for God, no time for devotion, no time for studying the Bible. I think the hustle and bustle of the city really change our mind, our priorities, our living style. Why can't we just back to the very basic life, without those complicated relationships, ignoring those packed working life, enjoy each and every moment with our own family and friends?

Kind of missing those friends, whom studied together last time. Those study life is never be the same as now in university. Miss the time used to study in library during STPM examinations with friends. Just miss.. The feeling just come like that. May be it's because of the music I'm listening to now.. May be the atmosphere tonight is so quiet for me to treasure those moments, and think of my life now.

Oh God.. I really miss the time..

MARA Liner - best bus service provider for me (KL-Kuantan route)

Today I took a bus ride back to Kuantan, lazy to drive as I was going home alone.. All friends just not free to go home.. What a coincident, I met Eng Chwan and his... hmm.. dunno who.. at the bus station. Should have drive home if I got to know this earlier. But nvm.. Bought a 5pm bus ticket at 4.45pm, right.. 4.45pm, 15 mins right before the bus set off. Kinda rush, but thank God I was able to grab a ticket (actually I knew there weren't many people as today is normal weekday).

The bus arrived at 4.53pm, and we all started to enter the bus. This is the 2nd time I sit on this bus, still.. Wow.. Everything seems great. Nice chair, nice atmosphere. Friendly bus driver passing a bottle of mineral water and Malay snack (dunno call wat name) as this is the month of Ramadhan. Not bad.. The whole journey was just nice.. They even show us video using 2 LCD screen in the bus. Although it was Malay movies, it's considered good enough compared to other buses. Just that the volume is way too loud, yet I could still fall asleep.. lol.. guess too tired after long hour of studies. Below are photos I took for fun inside the bus. :P

I'm sick! Calvin + Sore throat^2 + Flu^3 = Half-dead Calvin. Lolz.. This is math ppl equation. Been doing too many math, this sem taking 6 math subjects.. Cannot imagine from Monday to Thursday all Math lectures.. Not including tutorials.. Have to solve from Friday to Sunday.. Math Math Math.. Last time I like Math, now .. .Hmmm.. Got to re-evaluate. :P

Today woke up at 8am, quite early.. No lecture though.. Wonder why I wake up so early.. Mayb used to it dy.. Then went to clinic in the afternoon. It's closed!! The opening hours stated till 12.15, but they closed it at 12pm. Malaysia boleh! LOL.. Wat to do? Go to library to 'study' lor.. actually spent 2 hrs just to read newspapers, read almost all the published newspapers in Malaysia.. Great record! Went back to the clinic around 2.45pm and there were around 10 people there already.. So fast.. Got to wait for a while for my turn.. The whole process took me 30 minutes, not too long i suppose.. Went to post office to post my documents to Great Eastern Corp. for scholarship thingy, hoping that they will bank in the money soon, coz now I'm in short of cash - high expenses studying in KL (with lots of entertainment, activities.. ) All juniors, reconsider UM when you are selecting the universities to further your studies.. :P

Took medicine and started to feel sleepy.. (coz of the medince.. ) lied on my lovely bed and Zzz... By the time I woke up, it's already 7.45pm.. Woops.. Slept for too long.. Planned to go Mid Valley to buy some groceries.. Now got to plan again since it was dy so late.. At last, I decided to go.. hehe.. Read magazines there, walked around, got my Digi simcard registered, buy some stuff.. spent only RM7 for my own stuff.. Not bad.. Went for supper aka dinner with Pai Hong then sent her home.. Sister, if you read this, my advice is: don't always work so late larrr.. have your own time and life. :)

An Ordinary Day..

It has been a long time since the last time i posted here. Been doing many things these two months, full with activities, assignments and tests. 2nd year life would never be the same as the 1st year, not so relaxing.. Met many new frenz, juniors etc.. It's great!

And good news is i am offered a scholarship, it's from Great Eastern Life, together with 3-year bond. Seriously I am looking forward to working in such a big corporate. I can learn things, get to adapt to the working environment. And will be doing my industrial training there as well, I wouldn't have to find other company for it, save time and energy. :P Anyway, it's going to be good to work there. Bla bla bla... Talking a lot about what happened these two months. Frankly speaking, impossible for me to tell the whole story of my life here. It's way too long and wonderful.. Haha..

Let's talk about today. Why I'm so free to write? I also dunno. :P Just have the mood to blog here. This morning all elctures has been cancelled due to the annual election day of UM, a so-called "democratic" election. Get what I mean? Back to topic.. Because of the election day, I have idle time to do my stuff. Went for blunch with my roommate, WJ. 1st time having blunch with him since I am here. Chit chat while having it. He's always be my good roommate.. Too bad he's planning to move back to college. Hardly find another one to be so considerate and nice. WJ, don't move out k? haha :P

Went to library before lecture at 2pm, searching around for past year papers. I got to study hard this time, result for mid term papers was not so good as expected, at least not good enough to secure my target for CGPA above 3.5. Thank God that He reminded me to prepare as early as possible for the finals, else I think I'll be still a lazy person. :P Had boring lectures for the whole afternoon. Then go home, bought my dinner at 2.80 stall. Cheap and delicious.. Hehe..

Nite just doing my works, preparing stuff etc. A day passed like that.. This is my campus life...

Today's lecture was killing me!! Starting from 9am till 6pm with 1 hour break in between for me to take lunch. If I choose and add a tutorial time slot for 1pm, you will not be seeing me anymore.. I will die.. Haha.. The subject that attracts me the most is Introductory Life Contingencies. I like it the most, and the lecturer is so interesting, or should I say "funny"? Haha.. The way she giving lecture is really great, I paid fully attention during the whole 2-hour lecture. Can't imagine that I can actually do that.. :P

The afternoon session is so so so so boring.. Regression Analysis was killing me.. I don't understand what the lecturer is talking about.. AT ALL!!! Same goes to Linear Algebra II. I was thinking of dropping RA at that time, so no mood to listen to the lecturer.. Haha..

However, a happy thing is that lunch time was great, spending time with frenz, chit chatting.. So nice.. Somemore Janice was accompanying and having lunch together.. Hehe.. :P

Kind of hungry now.. Haven't take my dinner yet.. :( So gotta go liao... Ciao..

A short story in KTM..

Today I was waiting for a train at Serdang KTM Station after an outing.. While waiting, there was a guy, taking out his sophisticated high tech camera phone, pretending as if he's typing a SMS. I was standing quite far away and looking at him. From his position and the way he's holding the phone, I could noticed that he was actually taking a photo of a girl wearing a short skirt. Even when we all were in the same train, and there was super crowded. But I don't dare enough to shout out, because I am not very sure if he's doing the wrong thing, but from what I saw and conclude, 90% he was doing it. So, girls attention and beware pls! There are people who just doesn't know what a camera phone is designed for, taking advantages of high technology, to shoot other people without permission.

Another story is that there were 2 blind people who also taking the same train as mine. Not one there to help them when they need to get into the train. Everyone just try to move in, without knowing that they actually need help. End up I try to block other ppl behind to let them go in 1st.. well.. not trying to show that i m kind though.. wahaha.. While we all were in the train, they got to stand there, no one kind enough to move their butts out of the seats while there's a notice there saying that "We care for these people" with disabled people symbol there. Malaysian.. wat to say.. (no offence to those who are Good Samaritan, just trying to express what I saw)

This morning I packed and got all my stuff organised. It's been messy since I came back. Not really spend time to arrange them. Take out all the things from my drawer, cupboard and writing desk. Check them one by one and throw all those unnecessary. And I found cards, birthday cards, new year cards, all sent by my friends. And a special birthday card, sent by my friends during form 6, I read through the messages, really touched by wat they wrote.

Thank you buddies, for sharing the wonderful moments with me during form 6, making my form 6 life so much meaningful. Thanks Ray, Wei Lung, Hai Liang, King Siang, Shi Hao, Eng Chwan, Choon Hiang, Anna, Li Min, Ming Hui and Xin Hui. I was so happy when I received d present (a CD) and this card. And now those memories are flashing back in my mind. U guys are so nice! Thanks for being my friend.

* Ray, I flipped through the photo we took together when we went to your church outing at the beach, we 'caught' fishes there. LOL.. It was so great! And an unforgetable experience for me, becoming a 'fisherman'. :P

After 1 month of semester break...

It has been a very long time since I write blog, except for the mission trip. Now I'm 'enjoying' my semester break for 2 months. Not really enjoying though as it's with all works and activities. Time is passing so fast, now left only less than 1 month. Been at KL always. 17 - 20 May for a core student planning retreat at agricultural park, Shah Alam and also have a walk at KL, watched The Da Vinci Code and also settled my new home for the next few semesters. Then went back to Kuantan, for only 3 days. Back to KL again for mission trip preparation. And also watched The Da Vinci Code for the 2nd time.. Haha.. This is unbelieveable! Never imagine I could have watched this movie twice. lol..

After that mission trip for one week starting 28 May till 4 June. Then rushed back to KL on 4 June evening to visit Bookfest at KLCC. It was held in 5 halls, imagine 5 halls full of books and educational products. It's a heaven of books. Managed to grab some books, cost me RM100++. Now broke dy, will not be buying any more books for months. Hehe..

Planned to stay at KL for another one day before heading back to Kuantan. Spent the day with Pai Shya, Pai Hong, Janice, Shya's fren and also Andrew. It was a great day! Watched 'Over The Hedge', a really entertaining animation aka cartoon. Laugh non-stop in the cinema. The cute face, storyline. It's kind of touching too. Hehe.. Recommended if you have been watching many action or horror movies.

Finally back to my home on last tuesday. My brother had ASEAN Scholarship Selection Test last Sunday.. So, went to KL once again for the weekend.. Started to get a bit boring when I have been travelling Kuantan-KL for so many times, all within a month! Good news from LCC, best fren who will be back next week. Long-waited since we met end of last year. Get something plan and will not be boring when back bro..

Basically that's what I have done in my 1st month of semester break. Meaningful? Yes, it was. :)

Mission trip - A wonderful trip...

Last week spent the whole week for mission trip at Karak, a town in Pahang state. We, 10 people, have done a lot of activities there. Monday to Friday morning we have children camp, a lot of students came to join this camp. It was so nice seeing them playing, shouting. They are so energytic! Run and jump, climb up and down.. Haha.. There're some who are really helpful, helped us for registration and cleaning the floor. Children nowadays seldom do housework, but they did it without anyone telling them what to do.

In the afternoon, we went and shared gospel with residents there. A new experience for me, simply because they are from different background, with different point of views about life. We were so glad when we heard from other teammates that someone accepts Jesus as their saviour.

We had also a campus night for students in KTAR, Karak. Talk by Qi Chun about studies and relationship. Also shared gospel with them. There are few students that start to believe in Jesus. Praise the Lord! Another night was movie night - Angel Heart. This is a very very touching and meaningful movie. Starring Liang Zhi Qiang aka "Liang Po Po" and other actors which I already forgot their names. I saw people crying after this show. Whoever hasn't got the chance to watch this movie, try to borrow from friends who have it or just buy it, worth buying.

Time was passing so fast. 1 week passed like lightning. We spent our weekend preparing for a parent-kid night - "Happy Family". Our 'army' from KL came down to help us. There were 8 brothers and sisters who joined us, we all were like a big family. Hehe.. Thank you for coming down, sacrificing your weekend for this mission trip. Many parents attended this event, supporting their children who have been preparing the program for few days. Those program (dance, singing etc) was so great! Parents are so touched by their kids. And their responce was positive and hope that we can organise such children camp again next year. Some even want to register now even though we aren't sure if we will organise again or not.

Thank God, for guiding us through this mission trip, for granted us wisdom, strength and healthiness, for blessing us in each and every activities we organised and planned. Thank you brothers and sisters for bringing so much fun during the whole mission trip, and I see how cooperative among us in carrying out activities, and also show cares for others. You guys are so great! Fellowship, yeah.. That's fellowship we had during this mission trip, this trip brings us closer and know more about each other. Overall, if you guys out there have chance to join any mission trip, please.. please grab the chance, you will definitely be blessed and other people, whom you serve during mission trip, will be blessed so much too!

Long time never post since I was busy preparing for my final exam. Now is the time to post!

This morning was my Algebra Linear 1 final exam. Quite ok though I did make mistakes. Should be able to get a A for this paper. :) After that I felt so good because the last paper for this semester will be on this saturday, which means I have time to relax.. Yeah.. Went to The Mines with Janice in the afternoon after sent her stuff back to home. Really can't imagine she has got so many luggages. Much more than mine.. Geng.. I never been to The Mines before this, and she became my tour guide dy.. haha.. Had a walk there for the whole afternoon.. Erm.. more precisely should be half of the afternoon, since we only went there around 3pm. Spent time at her house for a little while, chatting and drinking 'red bean soup'. :P

I was so pity.. Forced by her to drink a cup of 'Wong Lou Gak', it's so bitter.. Ya.. thought I know it's good for me, been coughing since 3 weeks ago.. Aiks.. I took quite long time to finish it.. Too bitter to drink..

Had dinner at Sushi King. My 1st time having dinner there. It was so nice having dinner with you. Thank you Janice for the dinner :) (it was such an expensive one, next time my turn to treat ya..) After the dinner, went down to KL again for fun before sent her back. Today was a tiring day but I feel so happy and enjoyable to have spent time with her. Thanks for being such a nice fren of mine. :)

Sorry pals for not blogging for one week. Have been busy for test and lecture notes. Studying was the only thing I've done for the past one week, though stil going out for movie. :P

Now I have time to relax and fooling around. Read some books and wish I have time to post up my review on the books. After this, means next week, I'll have to initiate my 'combat mode' to study for final examination. Haha.. It's fast approaching in 2 weeks time. Will still be writing here if I've time to do so. Wnat to write more about relationship to share with you guys, to continue what I'd written here past few weeks.

Today I didn't have many lectures. Only one hour in the morning and another one hour in the afternoon. This is what usually happens when the study week and final examination is around the corner. Most of my lectures in this semester ends early. The earliest is 3 weeks before the study week. See? This is the top 200 university shows, 'express'. Haha..

Had a slight headache after my class, took a nap but it didn't help much of it. I had meeting at 6pm. At first I didn't concentrate well on the meeting because of the headache and tiredness. But I felt much better soon, after 15 minutes of the meeting. I felt that the Holy Spirit is working within the committee. Thank God for leading our meeting.

After the meeting, I was so hungry, with no tiredness at all, because I didn't take any food since afternoon. It was already 9pm, so I went to my college mamak to 'ta bao' fried rice. Felt so energytic after my dinner aka supper.. :P Continue doing my TITAS notes. This subject in my opinion is useless. Yet we all here have to study for 2 sem. Pity.. Had a few-minute chat with my dad and got my stuff packed. Yay.. Going back home tomorrow, again. I'm thinking, am I going home too often? :P The answer is no... hmmmm.. may be yes..

Today I got my mid-sem exam result for Probability and Statistic I, I did badly and only scored a C. Sigh.. However, I know that I wasn't trying my best and didn't prepare very well. Lord, thank You for You had reminded me about my mistakes. And I had learnt to accept things as what they are. I didn't feel very upset, yet I will try my very best on the coming exam (next test will be on next Tuesday, pray for me friends.) My final is approaching very fast, day by day it comes closer to me.. Aiks.. After I got my result, I went to library to meet Janice to help her removing viruses in her pendrive. Shared something regarding sleep and time planning with her. I hope those information I shared is useful for you, Janice. During Calculus II lecture, I found out that my friend, Chin Siew, carelessly left her purse and handphone in the toilet inside the main library. She couldn't find it anymore when she realised that her purse and handphone weren't with her. So pity.. People nowadays doesn't care about others feeling. They just took away things left by others. I myself lost my bag while I was having my class in the library past 2 months. Janice, you must be careful also since you also left your purse inside the toilet this morning, thanks God that you could remember just after few minutes.

At night, I spent time playing a classic computer game namely Fallout. It's such a nice game and I don't feel bored even though I have been playing for several times. It has maximum freedom as a RPG game in which you can kill anyone you want in this game, do anything you want. Played for three hours before I started to finish my tutorial questions. At first I planned to play for only one hour. :P

Gotta stop now as I still have things to be done. :)

Today was such a tiring day. Came back from class at 5.30pm and took a shower. Took a short nap after my dinner. It wasn't long, only 20 minutes. Some people say it's just too short and wouldn't enough to 'recharge' their energy. For me, it's more than enough for me to continue my work until midnight. Now I have time to correct some mistakes that I had made that day in my blog. THe meaning of 'dating' and 'courtship' comes from Cambridge Dictionary. The meaning stated there is someway different from the one in Oxford Dictionary. Actually it's not so important whether we are in dating or courtship. That's what a couple will normally do when they spend time together. I couldn't discuss a lot here as I'm still learning and finding more information about this. Nothing special happened today. Just met my friend, Chin Yeong in the morning, shared with him about my depression yesterday and asked for his point of view about relationship. Really learnt a lot from him. After that just stayed in my room, solving tutorial questions, slept, yc with friends at night.. Whole day just passed like that. Now is almost 2am. At first I wanted to write more about relationship. But now sleepy, gonna sleep dy... I would like to thank you God for pulling me out of the depression I suffered yesterday. Also thank you Chin Yeong for his guidance. Really, you are such a good friend and brother. May the blessing of God be with you always. :)

This morning I woke up. Felt not so good in mood. Just don't know why. Read some discussions in forum about dating. There're books talking about dating and courtship, I wanted to read them since long time ago. I'm looking for 2 books titled "Boy meet Girl" and "I Kissed Dating Goodbye". Both by Joshua Harris. Hardly found any of these 2 books in bookstore. So anyone who has it can you please lend me? Haha..

About dating, there're people who say dating is not necessary, neither courtship. In Genesis chapter 24, the marriage of Issac was arranged by his father, Abraham, with the blessing of God. This chapter once again make me thinking of this topic "Dating No More". This is quite argueable from what I have seen in the forum discussion I mentioned. Some people believed that as long as dating is not sinful, it is acceptable. For me, I think that we still have to seek for God's guidance in each and every relationship we are having with others. I looked for dictionary for the meaning of dating and courtship..

Dating - a social meeting planned in advance, such as one between two people who are or might become sexual partners.

Courtship - to have a romantic relationship with someone that you hope to marry / the time when people have a romantic relationship with the intention of getting married

Both words seem to have the same meaning but actually they aren't.. There's a word 'marry' in courtship. IMHO, even during the time of courtship, we have to choose the right place and right time. Not too late eg. going out till 1 or 2am, try not to be two alone in a room even though you think that you have a determined heart of not commiting sin..

Really no mood to continue writing dy.. My calculus test just now made me want to explode. The lecturer taught so fast and I really couldn't follow the whole lecture, especially today when I have really no mood for studying. I really dunno y.. Gonna pray after this. Friends who see this post please pray for me too. At first I planned to go out to Mid Valley to have a walk (main objective is to visit my favourite bookstore - MPH) tomorrow but now seems like I will not be going anywhere tomorrow. Hope that I'll be not-so-depressed tomorrow.

If I were to rate my mood now, I will only rate it as 3/10. Aiks...

Something to share with my friends..

Today was a tiring day. Went to a stupid seminar called "Bina Negara". It was extraordinary hot stucking inside the dining hall of 9th college. So small and the worst thing is that it's 'fan'-conditioned, hot.. Didn't pay attention to what the person talk from starting till the end, instead I read articles about choosing life partner with reference of Bible (Genesis Chapter24), where Abraham is preparing to choose a bride for his son. I find this chapter teaches us a lot and guides us in choosing our life partner. I would like to share this here for all my friends who believe in Christ. The very foremost lesson I can see through this chapter is that we should establish biblical dating guidelines.

1) Choose my life partner who can share a spiritual life with me, in other words, a Christian. (2 Corinthians 6:14 - 15, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? ... ")

2) Seek divine guidance. This can be seen through Gen 24:12, the servant prayed to the Lord to give him succuess.

3) Pray often. Always pray and let God guide through the whole process, from the moment you see someone who may interest you, till every moment you take another look, to know him/her more.

I believe God will prepare the best for us, the right person, at the right time. God has His own plan in each and everyone of us. So friends out there, don't be upset when your previous relationship is a failure, don't blame God. God wants us to learn more and more from each relationship, to become a better person. Each relationship does come with great responsibilities, treasure them and learn to accept things as what they are. I believe in one day, all of us will live happily with our other half.

That's all I want to share. Time for bed.. Haha..

But the right one is out there, Lord. Father, I prayed for my friends and myself today, Father, give them patience, wisdom and the heart of seeking Your guidance and Words. I prayed all these in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. "

This morning I went to bus station to sell off my ticket because I will be following my church friends' (Pai Hong and Pai Shya) car going back to KL. Thank you Lord again because I was able to sell my ticket back to the counter with minimal loss. Went to bank to withdraw and deposit money. I also spent some time in my favourite place - Popular Bookstore. It's what I called a 'heaven' full with books.. Haha.. It's so nice to spend time there. I found some books that are useful to me. "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and "The 8th Habit" by Stephen R. Covey. I wanted to buy them but I didn't have enough money. Too poor. Haha.. Perhaps after few weeks these books will be mine. :P

Had a drink with church friends during lunch time. We talked about various topics and share our views / problems. Nice to spend time with them. After that, went to cut my hair, a new hair style I have. Haha..

Spend my whole afternoon doing tutorial questions and notes. Gonna rush for it because I need to print them out before I go back. Then went to Methodist Youth Fellowship at nite. yc with church friends after that and came home. Now writing this. A bit tired but still have to carry on with my notes. Tonight gonna burn the midnight oil dy..

A busy Friday.. but happy :)

This morning, I had a sweet dream. Really sweet, but can't tell here.. It's a secret.. If you want to know, ask me in real life.. Haha.. After I did my blood test, I had lunch with my family. Ate 'bak kut teh'.. Delicious.. I miss pork so much.. Haha.. After that it's just a simple day for me. Went to cell group at nite. Played a game called "The King and His Servants". This is a simple game: the servants have to obey to the king's instructions. The king instructed a cell group member (a girl) to propose to me.. It ended up I took the opposite position, that is I proposed to her. Huh.. Damn shy ler.. I don't even have a girlfriend, yet they ask me to propose.. Haha.. :P

After that, I rushed to a restaurant to have supper with frenz. My former colleague and boss. He wanted to treat me for a meal for several months because I have been helping him on certain events. Actually he doesn't have to do so because I was too free during my previous holidays and I was just spending my time on useful stuff. Anyway, thank you for the meal. It was such a full supper. Couldn't sleep after taking this supper.. So it's time to do my tutorial questions... Haha.. Had chat with Janice through sms while solving problems before I went to sleep..

Back to Kuantan!!

I'm back to Kuantan!! Kinda missing my family although it's just 3 weeks I'm in UM after my mid-sem holiday. Rushed to Pekeliling bus station after my Calculus II lecture. The day was getting dark, heavy rain was approaching. Arrived at bus station around 5pm and thanks God that the ticket is still available (left only 2 tickets.. huh.. ) I met my Kuantan friends there too, coincidentally they were waiting for bus to go back to Kuantan. 3 of us studying in UM, but I seldom chat with them. Had a long chat while waiting for the bus.

After having my dinner aka supper :P, I chatted with my family members. My mum forced me to do a blood test on the next day to have a check on my cholesterol level, Hepatitis B etc etc.. Mum, you are such a loving and caring mum, worry about my cholesterol level. :P

I plan to do my coursework but too tired, wrote this post and gonna go sleep... Zzz...

Actually I want to talk about yesterday. Time's getting late.. :(

Today's just another simple day. Lecture starts at 11am till 5pm with break in between. Went to my faculty canteen to have lunch, my very first time eating at canteen since this sem. Haha.. Rarely have my lunch there as it's not too cheap for a student like me. Not too crowded yet I couldn't locate any seat there. End up having my lunch beside canteen. This canteen is too small for such a large faculty with more than 2000 people. Somemore it's hot and not comfortable. Sigh... Met Janice after lunch to help her out with her assignment. Don't have to thank me so much, I'm just lending my 'free' hand. Haha.. She gave me a self-made bookmark. It's a very nice bookmark with a meaningful verse on it. Thank you Janice, I appreciate it and will bring it along wherever I go. :P

I was exhausted after my last lecture for today - Life Processes. After that, I went back to my college to wash my clothes and bathe because soon I got to go to DPG (Disciple Prayer Group) Combined Meeting at night somemore. This month combined meeting event is a talk by Bro. Soon about what's your purpose of life. I will share out when I got time to type out later. :P

Sleepy now.. Gotta go to sleep. Tomorrow got lecture at 9am. Very early.

God loves me so much!!!

It's almost 2am now.. Still alert after I took a 1-hour nap at 11pm and then went yc with frenz after I woke up. Very fresh and got lots of stuff to be done. Notes, tutorials, preparing for the coming lectures etc.. Today was a tiring day even though I have only 2 lectures. Slept for 5 hours only last night caused me feel sleepy during lectures. Thank you Lord for You had granted me strength to carry on with my jobs. And from now onwards I want to prepare my heart to serve You Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

God loves me so much. I can see through the changes in my life since early of this year. There're a lot of changes that happened on me. I was so lazy to serve God during my 1st semester in university. Been playing all the day and put all my works aside. However, during the semester holiday last December, I suddenly realised that my life is so dull and meaningless. And since then I decided to turn over a new leaf, to become a better person.

Prayed to the Lord to mould me to be what He wants me to be. Thank you Lord again for changing my life.

Need to carry on with my job. For brothers and sisters in Christ, let's serve Lord better and spend more time with Him. :)

Tired.. but meaningful

This afternoon I went to Mid Valley for a movie "Final Destination 3" with a sister I met during Campus Life Connection Mission Sharing, Janice. I had been watching this movie since the 1st episode. This time, it's all about a student who has an instinct that her friends and she is going to die in a roller coaster ride. And she has successfully get some of her friends and herself of the ride before the accident happens. However, she's still suffering from losing her boyfriend and her best friend. The death has not yet be ended. Those friends who had successfully escaped, die one by one very soon. And she can only try to save her friends from the death. This movie has a different ending than the previous ones, special ending. Watch yourself if you want to know. Haha..

After this movie, we had a walk in MPH bookstore and read some magazines. I really enjoy spending time with her. Thank you Janice. Very soon, we had to leave because I have Leadership Training Class (LTC) at 7 and she got to go for a rehearsal in her church. Although I was tired but I can feel that I'm still energitic. Thank you Lord for You had granted me strength. This 3-day leadership class really helps me a lot in knowing God and preparing myself to help completing the mission of God.

I think that's all for today.. Tired after came back from this course.. :P

Easiest Calculus II Test

Huh.. Today was a tiring day for me. Had a 2nd mid-sem test for Calculus II. The test is damn easy. The lecturer is too kind. My roommate is the earliest to come out.. Superb.. He used only 40 minutes to finish all the question and check the answers twice. The test is only 1 hour yet so many people started to leave after 40 minutes. Haha.. Me too left early. This is the very first time I left early in my test. I guess if there was no mistake made (I think no.. haha), should get full mark for this.

After my test I just went to computer lab to do my assignment. But end up online and read my friend's blog, without doing anything regarding my assignment.. This is the true me.. haha.. Very tired when I reached my room. Took a bath and heard an announcement saying that there'll be no water supply from tonight 10pm till 5am of the next day, starting 2nd march till 10th march.. I was like "Shit.. No water supply again.. " My college is sux.. Especially during this sem, everything seems starting to spoil.

Nite just doing nothing, play one match of Dota, chat with my roommate. Gonna start doing my notes dy.. Else cannot finish forever. :P

Today is just a simple day with nothing special happen except for the easiest test I ever seen. Haha..

Now only i write my 2nd post for my outdated blog. Been busy with tutorials and test while in UM, no time to write post though I did online few times a week. Today's a special day for all couples out there. For my friends who has found their beloved, go celebrating with your love one and have a memorable night. For those who are still single like me, we should be joyful too because we are bachelors. Haha.. We have our own bachelors' club and mayb we can hang out together.. Talking crap dy... Well, I have my own wife, my precious computer. Everytime I'm back to Kuantan, she's always by my side. :P

Now I'm having holiday, will be back to KL most probably on this Saturday. Once again, happy velentine's day to all. I truly believe that God will prepare the most suitable for me, or now already prepared for me? What about you? DO you believe?

My very first post...

This is my first blog created. Actually I wanted to have a blog since long time ago, but I did not have time to do so, especially maintaining my blog. Another reason is due to the internet connectivity in my university (wait until my neck long to have internet access in my room and still waiting...) :( What a so called "top" university in Malaysia which doesn't have whole-campus internet connection.

I will try my best to post here. Currently busy of Rapha Musical Charity Concert, which will be held on next Monday night, in charge of power point presentation. Took a break to create this blog. :P Need to continue my job now.

Mission Trip - A wonderful trip...

Last week spent the whole week for mission trip at Karak, a town in Pahang state. We, 10 people, have done a lot of activities there. Monday to Friday morning we have children camp, a lot of students came to join this camp. It was so nice seeing them playing, shouting. They are so energytic! Run and jump, climb up and down.. Haha.. There're some who are really helpful, helped us for registration and cleaning the floor. Children nowadays seldom do housework, but they did it without anyone telling them what to do.

In the afternoon, we went and shared gospel with residents there. A new experience for me, simply because they are from different background, with different point of views about life. We were so glad when we heard from other teammates that someone accepts Jesus as their saviour.

We had also a campus night for students in KTAR, Karak. Talk by Qi Chun about studies and relationship. Also shared gospel with them. There are few students that start to believe in Jesus. Praise the Lord! Another night was movie night - Angel Heart. This is a very very touching and meaningful movie. Starring Liang Zhi Qiang aka "Liang Po Po" and other actors which I already forgot their names. I saw people crying after this show. Whoever hasn't got the chance to watch this movie, try to borrow from friends who have it or just buy it, worth buying.

Time was passing so fast. 1 week passed like lightning. We spent our weekend preparing for a parent-kid night - "Happy Family". Our 'army' from KL came down to help us. There were 8 brothers and sisters who joined us, we all were like a big family. Hehe.. Thank you for coming down, sacrificing your weekend for this mission trip. Many parents attended this event, supporting their children who have been preparing the program for few days. Those program (dance, singing etc) was so great! Parents are so touched by their kids. And their responce was positive and hope that we can organise such children camp again next year. Some even want to register now even though we aren't sure if we will organise again or not.

Thanks God, for guiding us through this mission trip, for granted us wisdom, strength and healthiness, for blessing us in each and every activities we organised and planned. Thank you brothers and sisters for bringing so much fun during the whole mission trip, and I see how cooperative among us in carrying out activities, and also show cares for others. You guys are so great! Fellowship, yeah.. That's fellowship we had during this mission trip, this trip brings us closer and know more about each other. Overall, if you guys out there have chance to join any mission trip, please.. please grab the chance, you will definitely be blessed and other people, whom you serve during mission trip, will be blessed so much too!
